Editors and anime superfans from nonprofit comic book publisher Pronto Comics will be joined by other independent comic creators in a discussion of the current crop of remakes and sequels to classic anime, such as Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, Gundam, and Evangelion. How do the remakes compare to the originals? What improvements (and failures) do the remakes bring to the table? And how much of our appreciation or disdain for the remakes is based (or biased) on nostalgia? Come prepared to argue and laugh along with us!
